Muslim student loses High Court challenge against school's 'prayer ban'

The High Court ruled that a 'prayer ban' at Britain's 'strictest school' is lawful. A Muslim student, who cannot be named, claimed the policy at the Michaela Community School in North London was discriminatory. The headteacher Katherine Birbalsingh has hailed the judgement as a victory for all schools. The pupil's mother said she was dismayed at the outcome.
