Norway to recognise Palestinian state 31 years after brokering the Oslo Accords

This step towards Palestinian recognition comes more than 30 years after Norway brokered the Oslo Accords in 1993. The Scandinavian country says it decided to take this route because a different strategy was needed for peace in the Middle East. It's calling the recognition Oslo 2.0.
