Rehabbed sea turtles released into ocean

A crowd cheered as the South Carolina Aquarium released two rehabilitated loggerhead sea turtles back into the ocean. Brie was brought to the aquarium at just 60 pounds, anemic and infested with leeches. Now she’s a healthy 120 pounds and able to thrive in the wild. Gruyere was only 14 pounds and was suffering cold stun from the waters off Cape Cod. Now Gruyere is 20 pounds and is swimming in warmer waters off Folly Beach County Park.
