Reports of Israeli settlers blocking humanitarian aid trucks to Gaza

Israeli settlers have been repeatedly blocking the humanitarian aid trucks heading to Gaza after leaving from Ashdod port, 38km (24 miles) north of the Strip. The settlers are calling on the Israeli government to prevent the flow of aid supplies to the besieged enclave, despite signs of famine across the territory, unless they can restore the Israeli captives from the territory. The vast majority of humanitarian convoys have been inspected by the Israeli military in order to guarantee that there isn’t any kind of material that can be smuggled in and to make sure that all the aid supplies will be delivered to the people.
