External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar launched a fierce attack on western media in an event in Hyderabad. The dynamic minister accused foreign media of emulating political players in elections and trying to influence them. Addressing a forum in Telangana capital, Jaishankar cited an article by the western media questioning the timing of elections during summer months. “Now I read that article and I wanted to say listen, in that heat my lowest turnout is higher than your highest turnout in the best run”, the External Affairs Minister shot back.
