60-year-old Russell Reed has been arrested in connection to the homicide and is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility. He is being charged with Capital Murder and Criminal Mischief-1st Degree, Class A. The victim in the homicide has also been identified as his mother, Altha Reed.
