Trinidad and Tobago is mourning the loss of golf legend Peter “Scorpion” Lutchmansingh, who passed away on December 12th at the age of 81.
From humble beginnings as a caddy, Scorpion rose to become one of the Caribbean’s top golfers, competing alongside greats such as Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus.
Known for his creativity, signature putting style, and iconic shot at the Jamaican Open, Lutchmansingh later dedicated his life to coaching and youth development in Tobago.
His legacy lives on through generations of golfers whom he mentored and inspired.
