Fresh off a landslide victory in Castries Central, Housing Minister Richard Frederick says his top priority for the new parliamentary term is accelerating the nation’s building program.
Speaking to reporters outside parliament ahead of the inaugural sitting of the thirteenth parliament, Frederick outlined plans to replicate current successes nationwide.
The re-appointed minister is hitting the ground running with an aggressive development strategy for 2026.
He confirmed that a multi-unit residential project in Babonneau is serving as the prototype for a broader state-led initiative. According to Frederick, the government has navigated the previous regulatory hurdles, clearing the path for a faster construction phase in multiple communities.
