Prime Minister Clears the Air on U.S. Agreement and Visa Concerns(JANUARY 12TH, 2026)
Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre said the non-binding MOU agreement with the United States has no effect on Saint Lucia’s laws or U.S. visa access, despite public concerns linked to the CIP programme.
He also warned against misinformation on social media and urged citizens to focus on unity, responsibility, and moving the country forward together.
