Two Americans Arrested in Exuma, Vessel Seized
EXUMA: Two American nationals were arrested in Exuma waters on Wednesday during a joint operation involving the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF) Maritime Unit, Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF), and other government agencies.
According to RBDF Senior Commander and Director of the Maritime Revenue Unit, Bertram Bowleg, the men were taken into custody for alleged unauthorized sports fishing in Bahamian waters.
Their vessel was seized after officers discovered weapons, a cannabis vape, fishing rods in excess of the legal limit, and live fisheries products, all of which were confiscated.
