Saint Lucia Police Vow Crackdown on Illegal Firearms After Final Surrender Chance(JANUARY 15TH 2026)
The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has launched a gun amnesty starting next week, offering individuals a final opportunity to surrender illegal weapons without facing prosecution.
The initiative, described by Police Commissioner Verne Garde as a « soft approach, » will be immediately followed by a series of aggressive and targeted law enforcement operations aimed at removing all remaining illegal firearms from the streets.
