Health Minister: « When People Work, They Need To Be Paid »
Overtime issues within the Public Hospitals Authority are on Cabinet’s agenda, according to Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Michael Darville.
He told reporters in Grand Bahama moments before walking into today’s meeting which is being held on the northern island, that he was only made aware of the issue days before overtime payments were due.
Earlier this week, the Bahamas Nurses Union revealed it was at odds with The Public Hospitals Authority over payments.
