Gov’t Signs MOU to Gain Control of Grand Bahama Power Company
Prime Minister Philip Davis announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of The Bahamas and Emera Incorporated, in reference to the Grand Bahama Power Company.
If finalized, the agreement would mark the first time the Bahamian government gains control of the power company since the Hawksbill Creek Agreement.
