The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Lucia defended the country’s overseas medical programmes amid international criticism.
Her Excellency Yenielys Vilma Regueiferos Linares stated that the challenges faced are common and not unique to Cuba.
The ambassador also welcomed the chance to address misconceptions, especially as these programmes are now viewed as a threat to US national security.
