Calypso improvisation took centre stage at the National Academy for the Performing Arts on Tuesday night, as Kaisorama 2026 brought together some of the country’s sharpest lyrical minds for an evening of wit, rhythm, and friendly rivalry.
The competition featured both Extempo and Freestyle categories, challenging performers to think on their feet and transform topical themes into instant musical storytelling.
