Minister Lee And Minister Roberts Hold Discussions With Officials In Tobago
Government is advancing Housing opportunities and infrastructure development for Tobago residents.
A delegation to enhance these initiatives in Tobago was led by Minister of Housing Dr. David Lee, and Minister in the Ministry of Housing, Anil Roberts on Wednesday.
They met with Assembly Member and Secretary Housing, Settlements & Public Utilities Ricky Joefield along with Councillor and Secretary of Finance, Trade and the Economy Petal-Ann Roberts.
The meeting, held at the Division of Housing, Settlements and Public Utilities in Scarborough, focused on advancing Phase II of the Courland Infrastructure Development Project, aimed at creating serviced residential lands with improved water, sanitation, electricity, and emergency services.
Following discussions, the delegation conducted a site visit to the Courland Housing Settlement to assess conditions and discuss the technical requirements for the project.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Tobago House of Assembly to ensure the success of the Land for the Landless initiative, supporting sustainable housing and stronger communities across the island.
