Farmers across Trinidad and Tobago are being urged to follow fire-season rules, as a growing number of bushfires are being reported across the island.
Speaking on Trinidad and Tobago Today, TTT’s Weather Presenter, Zanna James, said while farmers are generally cautious, fire permits remain mandatory during the dry season.
She warned that even with responsible farmers, a small group of offenders still poses a significant threat.
