PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar Returns Home After Shield Of The Americas Summit
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, has returned home following her participation in the Shield of the Americas Summit in the United States.
Upon arrival at the Piarco International Airport on Wednesday, the Prime Minister was warmly received by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Works and Infrastructure, Jearlean John, along with members of the Cabinet, who gathered to welcome her back to Trinidad and Tobago.
In a post on her social media pages, the Prime Minister said the Government remains committed to advancing the interests of the people of Trinidad and Tobago both at home and on the international stage.
