Firefighters Battle Multiple Blazes Across Saint Lucia(MARCH 18TH, 2026)
On Monday, March 16th, 2026, the Saint Lucia Fire Service responded to multiple emergencies across the island, successfully containing a boat fire in Castries, a house fire in Grande Riviere, and a large bushfire in Vieux Fort before they could spread further.
These incidents come amid a notably busy period for the service, which recently managed major fires in Marisule and Castries.
