Community-Based AI Programme Linked To Cabinet Level Policy
Minister in the Ministry of Public Utilities and Member of Parliament for La Brea, Clyde Elder, is linking a community-based AI training initiative in his constituency, directly to Cabinet-level policy and the Prime Minister’s agenda.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony in La Brea, he said the initiative reflected deliberate national planning, rather than a one-off experiment.
He argued that Trinidad and Tobago is being positioned to compete globally in artificial intelligence and digital development.
