DOWN THE DRAIN [20TH MARCH 2026] – The Caribbean Development Bank is sharpening its focus on youth brain drain and water security as it prepares for its 56th Annual Meeting in The Bahamas. Speaking at the media launch, CDB President Daniel Best warned that limited opportunities continue to drive skilled youth abroad, while climate pressures place growing strain on the region’s water resources. The Bank says addressing both challenges will be key to building a more resilient and sustainable Caribbean. Shyne Savory reports.
