Enterprise Hosts Youth-Focused Easter Celebrations
4 hours ago
Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, is one of the most significant celebrations on the Christian calendar, marking the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
While the religious observances are central to the day, in many parts of the world the celebrations also take on cultural and community-based forms.
One such community in Central Trinidad hosted a sport and family day to celebrate the occasion.

Around the globe Christians are celebrating Easter.
Some attend church services, wear new outfits, dress up as Easter bunnies or take part in egg hunts.
In Trinidad and Tobago, many communities also mark the day with sport and family activities.
In Enterprise, Councillor for Enterprise South/Longdenville North, Brenda John, said the focus of their Easter celebrations remains firmly on the nation’s youth.
The Councillor noted that the homework centre is just one of several youth-focused initiatives currently in progress.
Also in the area, residents of Phyllis Street Extension also hosted their own Easter celebrations.
The Enterprise Easter celebrations also featured face painting, family races and a talent show, bringing together residents of all ages in the spirit of the season.
