PM Announces Special Dividend From TTNGL
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC announced in Parliament the declaration of a special interim dividend of TT$154.8 million from TTNGL, describing it as a major boost to the economy and a win for over 11,500 shareholders.
She said the dividend follows a strong recovery in share value under the current board and marks the first payout in nearly four years, with shareholders also given the option to receive payments in US dollars.
