CDF Emancipation Treasure Hunt 2025
History met adventure on Saturday, August 16, as the Cultural Development Foundation launched their first ever Emancipation Hunt, turning Senlutia into a giant living classroom. 13 teams of five journeyed across the island, from the north to the south, east coast and west, piecing together clues, uncovering hidden gems of Senlutian history, and celebrating the spirit of Emancipation in a bold new way.

The treasure hunt was made possible through the support of corporate sponsors who recognize the value of connecting culture, education and community in such an exciting way. With overwhelming success in its first year, the Cultural Development Foundation is already planning to bring the treasure hunt back, bigger and better. Not just for Emancipation 2026, but also as part of Saint Lucia’s peak tourism season
