Johnson: “It’s Unfortunate That The National Chairman Would’ve Made Some Premature Remarks”
PLP Legal Team Representative, Keenan Johnson, responds to a video made by FNM Chairman Duane Sands today, showing Sands standing in front of the Parliamentary Registration Department HQ criticizing the PLP government for missing the deadline to release the certified voters registry.
However, Johnson is refuting Sands’ claims, saying that according the Parliamentary Elections Act, 15 days after the Writs of Election were issued would be on April 27th if you exclude Sundays and a public holidays.
The Writs of Election were issued on April 9th.
