As he addressed party supporters and the national community at the United National Congress’ anniversary celebrations on Saturday, Deputy Political Leader and Minister of Public Utilities, Barry Padarath highlighted several pieces of landmark legislations laid in the Parliament.
One of the major pieces of legislation Minister Padarath highlighted was the promised stand your ground legislation.
The Member of Parliament for Couva South noted that with the UNC’s strong representation in the House of Representatives citizens can expect several more pieces of key legislation brought to the Parliament in the coming months.
