Dominica is moving into recovery mode tonight after a severe weather system triggered heavy flooding and landslides across parts of the island’s east.
The intense rainfall began Sunday morning and continued for hours, cutting off access to several communities and damaging homes. But despite the impact, officials report no injuries.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit addressed the nation during a live call to DBS Radio, outlining the government’s immediate response.
