Two of Tobago’s own, Jada Hamilton and Kello Roy, are set to represent their country at the Netball Youth World Cup in Gibraltar this month. The young athletes recently paid a courtesy visit to Sports Secretary Wane Clarke at the Division’s main office, receiving well-wishes before they head off to compete on the world stage.
Hamilton and Roy are no strangers to the national spotlight, having previously played for Trinidad and Tobago’s U16 and U18 teams. They were joined by a delegation that included Kyla Keith-Wilson, President of the Tobago Netball League, and Carron Williams, a Sport Development Officer and the Division’s Liaison Officer.
This meeting not only celebrated the young women’s achievements but also highlighted the talented athletes as they embark on their international journey.
