Health Check - PAHO Report: Caribbean Among Most Affected by Suicide
Suicide is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths worldwide.
A new Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) report shows that the Americas now have the highest suicide rates of all World Health Organization regions — and the Caribbean, including Trinidad and Tobago, ranks among the most affected.
World Suicide Prevention Day was observed on September 10th.
