CHIEF SEC MEETS WITH WASA EXECUTIVE
Chief Secretary Farley Augustine convened a high-level meeting with WASA’s executive team on Wednesday to address Tobago’s pressing water issues.
The talks centred on both immediate interventions and long-term strategies to stabilise and improve the island’s water supply. Among the key areas discussed were infrastructure upgrades, better management of existing resources. The development of contingency plans to minimise disruptions for residents. The Chief Secretary stressed the urgency of the matter, noting that access to a reliable water supply is critical for the health, livelihood, and overall development of Tobago.
