The Saint Lucia Teachers’ Union brought the curtains down on Teachers’ Appreciation Week with a spirited rally on World Teachers’ Day, Sunday, October 5th. The event celebrated the vital role of educators in national development while calling for stronger stakeholder support to help teachers fulfill their mandate in an evolving world.
Under the theme “Empowering Educators, Strengthening Resilience, Building Sustainability,” the rally featured powerful addresses from Union President Vern Charles and Guest Speaker Perry Thomas, both emphasizing the resilience and dedication required of teachers in today’s education landscape.
