New Road Designs to Include Utility Chambers to Prevent Future Damage.(October 7th 2025)
The Ministry of Infrastructure will now design roads with utility chambers along the sides to prevent frequent disruptions caused by underground pipeline damage, particularly from water lines. A new planning unit has been set up to support this approach, which will also ensure the continued inclusion of sidewalks in future road projects.
