Plans for a major new Town Centre in La Clery have sparked debate in Castries North, after Infrastructure Minister Stephenson King announced an African investor would transform the area into an economic hub linking Castries and Gros-Islet. While the development promises new business opportunities, UWP candidate Stephen Fevrier raised concerns over the future of former residents of old CDC buildings and called for greater public consultation before the project moves forward.
