RIGHT TO RUN [14TH OCTOBER 2025] – While the ruling Saint Lucia Labour Party has been building a red wave of momentum ahead of the next election, the opposition United Workers Party has been hemorrhaging support, fielding resignations and witnessing open defections from their camp. However, there is a new source of opposition to the red wave: former Labour candidate for Castries Central Stanley Felix has thrown his hat into the ring as an independent candidate, in spite of still being a member of the Labour Party. The prime minister fielded questions about Felix at his weekly press briefing. Jason Sifflet tells us more.
