In honor of World Food Day, students from Babonneau Secondary School got a hands-on lesson in the future of farming at AMB’s Harvest, exploring hydroponics as an innovative way to grow food without soil. The visit, made possible through a partnership between the St. Lucia National Conservation Fund and Republic Bank, highlights the urgent need to engage youth in agriculture to secure Saint Lucia’s food future amid climate change and an aging farming population.
