Born to farmers, Glenroy Crossman has always had a natural affinity for the soil; an affinity that eventually led him to leave his career as a soldier to pursue farming full-time. Today, it is both his livelihood and his passion, allowing him to provide for himself and his family.

In addition to scallion, he cultivates pak choi, lettuce, carrots, plantains, bananas, thyme, callaloo, tomatoes, and more. Renowned for producing some of the finest crops in the area and delivering exceptional customer service, ‘Farmer Glen’ is a shining example of the New FACE of Food.

From boardrooms to Studios; Discovering “Purpose” with Dr. Karrian Hepburn Malcolm

FYI: This little girl from East Kingston who no one expected to win with the odds stacked against her found joy and purpose in singing. She sang in her early days in her church and school choir. As an adult she performed in local theatrical productions and was passionate about leading praise and worship at church.

Her artistic journey now takes a bold step forward with her debut single, “Purpose”. The song was co-written and produced by the legendary Mikie Bennett of Grafton Studios. Karrian has worked at some of the top financial institutions in Jamaica and Trinidad. She is currently the Head of Wealth at the National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB). She also worked in the media industry in Trinidad as the General Manager of Guardian Media Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Science, MBA and a Doctorate in Leadership.

The video explores the transformative power of virtual reality (VR) in education, showcasing how immersive learning experiences can better prepare students for the workforce.

The European Union (EU), Universal Service Fund (USF) Short Video Competition is a vibrant initiative launched to promote digital excellence and foster critical Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills among high school students across Jamaica.
