NEMO HIGHLIGHTS TSUNAMI RISK ON AWARENESS DAY 2025
The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) joined the global community Wednesday, November 5, 2025, to commemorate world tsunami awareness day under the theme, « be tsunami ready: invest in tsunami preparedness, » reminding residents that while hurricanes are the most common threat, the island remains vulnerable to other natural disasters, including tsunamis.
