Firearm Renewal Deadline Set for December 31; Late Fees Begin January 14
Police announced that the firearm licensing period runs from November 1 to December 31, 2025, with a 14-day extension. After January 14, a $50 fee per firearm applies for late renewal. Additionally, if a licensed firearm owner passes away, their firearms, ammunition, and license book must be surrendered to the Firearm Licensing Unit.
