Greater San Fernando Chamber Steps Up Safety Measures
The Greater San Fernando Area Chamber of Commerce is working to help keep the area safe for Christmas and beyond.
The Chamber’s President, Kiran Singh, made the announcement at the Annual Mix and Mistletoe Event 2025 over the weekend.
He told members that the Chamber has been meeting regularly with the TTPS and San Fernando Municipal Police.
Mr. Singh said these meetings have yielded positive results, and the Chamber is currently assisting law enforcement with the installation of security cameras in downtown San Fernando. These cameras, he noted, will be monitored by the TTPS for quick response should an unfortunate situation occur.
He added that the police will be stepping up their foot and vehicular patrols as the Christmas shopping season draws near, and this will continue into the Carnival period.
