BTVI Staff Demand Removal of President Dr. Linda Davis
In the latest of several protests this year at the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute, faculty and staff walked out this morning demanding the immediate removal of President Dr. Linda Davis. Earlier protests centered on withheld increments, contract issues, and what workers called a hostile environment. UTEB member Lawrence Clarke described ongoing frustrations as “intentional,” while BAUPE President Ernesto Williams says workers feel undervalued as celebrations take priority over staff needs.
