Saint Lucia’s political landscape remained resolute on Sunday as the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) rallied behind its defeated Micoud South candidate, Shanda Lee Harracksingh, vowing to support her comeback in the next general election.
Despite losing the December 1 contest to the opposition, Harracksingh emerged from a heartfelt thank-you rally on December 7 with renewed optimism, backed by SLP Leader and Prime Minister Hon. Philip J Pierre’s commitment to her future candidacy.
