A powerful new digital tool in the fight against gender-based violence has arrived. Although the global 16 Days of Activism campaign ended on December 10th, the push to protect vulnerable women and girls continues. YouthSpac, in partnership with Sorority Inc., has launched a safety app designed to help users quickly locate secure spaces during emergencies. The app can register persons as young as 12, enabling them to send an SOS alert that guides them to the nearest safe haven. Its purpose is to reduce fatalities linked to domestic abuse and raise broader awareness about violence against women.
