The Caribbean Examinations Council has released the official schedule for its 2026 regional examinations, giving students, parents, and educators a clear timeline to work with. The highly anticipated calendar outlines dates for the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate and Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations, as well as the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence and the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment.
According to the official release, the January CSEC exams are set to begin on January 5 and run until January 29, 2026. The popular May/June examination period will follow, with CSEC beginning on May 4 and CAPE starting on the same day, both concluding in mid-June. The May/June CSEC exams run until June 9, while CAPE wraps up on June 16. A significant point to note is the continued push by CXC towards digital assessments; as previously announced, all January examinations will be conducted electronically. Students are encouraged to visit the official CXC website to download the full timetables and prepare accordingly.
