2026 GLOBAL RECYCLING DAY: ANSE LA RAYE E-WASTE AND ALUMINUM COLLECTION SUCCESS
On the eve of Global Recycling Day 2026, Greening the Caribbean Inc. (gtc) and the Saint Lucia Solid Waste Management Authority (SLSWMA) are proud to announce the successful completion of a residential community e-waste and aluminum cans drop-off event held on Saturday, 14 march 2026, at the Anse La Raye playing field.
More than 90 residents from anse la raye and surrounding districts turned out to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronics, a figure that exceeded projections and highlighted a community prepared to take action.
