Air Pistol Gold For T&T's Roger Daniel As He Books Spot In 2026 CAC Games
It was an emotional, gold medal-winning performance at the Central American and Caribbean Shooting Championship qualifiers in San Salvador for Trinidad and Tobago’s Roger Daniel.
Daniel, who had not competed for eight years, won gold in the Men’s 10-metre air pistol event with a final score of 239.0 points. He finished ahead of Mexico’s Daniel Urquiza and Carlos Gonzalez, who finished second and third, respectively.
The result sees Daniel qualify for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
