Akeem Stewart Targets Third Medal At World Para Athletics Championships
2024 Paralympics silver medallist Akeem Stewart is aiming for another podium finish.
Stewart is set to compete in the men’s discus F44 final at the World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi on Friday.
He last tasted gold at the 2017 World Para Athletics Championships in London, England, in the men’s javelin and shot put, and is looking to complete the treble of medal-winning performances at the event.
The Tobagonian is this country’s only competing athlete at the Championships.
The discus final is scheduled to begin at 7:30am TT time.
