COUNTRY & WESTERN [24TH APRIL 2026] – A recent homicide in Soufrière has heightened concerns about public safety in one of Saint Lucia’s most tranquil and tourism-driven communities. While acknowledging the seriousness of the incident, Acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Kimroy Rene stressed that such events do not reflect the broader national situation, but warned that no community is immune to crime.
