Budget Watch: Completion Of Major Health Facilities A Priority
The health sector received the second largest share of the 2024/2025 National Budget, with TT$7.571 billion allocated.
The Kamla Persad-Bissessar-led administration has outlined several priorities within the sector, such as the completion of the Port of Spain Central Block, the Couva Children’s Hospital, and the establishment of an Artificial Limb Centre.
