BUSINESSOWMAN ROBBED AT GUNPOINT
A 54-year-old doubles vendor, of Plymouth Road, Tobago was robbed. According to reports, around 2 a.m. on Monday, four masked men, two armed with guns and one with a cutlass, stormed the kitchen while the businesswoman and two employees were preparing doubles.
The men demanded money, tied up the businesswoman and one of her employees. They escaped with approximately TT$21,600, US$100, a Samsung A30 cellphone, and a DVR unit after ransacking two bedrooms. The victims managed to free themselves and alert police. Police are continuing investigations.
