Independent Castries North candidate Marcellus “Baks” Stiede is accusing authorities of turning the La Clery playing field into a political illusion. Stiede claims the project has dragged on for three election cycles with little real progress, alleging that past work, including the removal of field lights and dumping of river mud, was done to create the appearance of improvement before elections.
